Human Phospholamban/PLN ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA, Double Antibody assay from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of phospholamban (PLN) in human samples including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The kit demonstrates a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL with a working range of 0.313-20 ng/mL, and reagents are stable at 2-8°C for 12 months.

Phospholamban is a critical regulatory protein that modulates calcium uptake and release in cardiac muscle cells, and its dysregulation has been implicated in heart failure and other cardiovascular disorders, making it a relevant biomarker for cardiovascular research. Validated linearity spans 80-105% across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 (n=5), while recovery rates range from 85-105% with averages of 90% (serum, n=5), 96% (EDTA plasma, n=5), and 90% (heparin plasma, n=5).
