Human Phospholamban (PLN) ELISA Kit

Phospholamban (PLN) is a small transmembrane phosphoprotein in the cardiac sarcoplasmic reticulum that modulates the SERCA calcium pump and therefore controls calcium reuptake and myocardial relaxation. This Assay Genie ELISA kit provides a quantitative immunoassay measure of PLN in human tissue homogenates, supporting research into calcium handling, contractile function, and β-adrenergic signaling in cardiomyocytes.

Each kit supplies reagents for 96 determinations on a strip-well plate, along with serially diluted recombinant PLN standards for curve generation. The assay is intended for in vitro research use only and supports studies of cardiac hypertrophy, ischemic injury, and heart failure, where altered PLN expression or phosphorylation status is a recognized biomarker of SERCA dysfunction and impaired relaxation.
