Human Phosphoglucomutase-1 (PGM1) ELISA Kit

The Assay Genie sandwich ELISA kit enables quantitative measurement of human Phosphoglucomutase-1 (PGM1), also known as glucose phosphomutase 1, in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. PGM1 is a key cytoplasmic enzyme involved in carbohydrate metabolism, catalysing the interconversion of glucose-1-phosphate and glucose-6-phosphate, and dysregulation of PGM1 has been linked to metabolic disorders such as glycogen storage disease type 14 and diabetes.

Using a colorimetric ELISA detection method, the assay covers a detection range of 31.2-2000pg/mL with a sensitivity of 15.6pg/mL. Reported intra-assay precision is 4.9% CV and inter-assay precision is 7.5% CV. The kit recognises natural and recombinant human Phosphoglucomutase-1 and is intended for research use only, supporting studies in metabolism, glucose metabolism and glycogen storage disease.
