Human Phosphofructokinase, Platelet/PFKP ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of human Phosphofructokinase, Platelet (PFKP). The double-antibody sandwich format uses colorimetric detection with absorbance read at 450 nm, and is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

Reported performance includes a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and an assay range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. Spiked recovery was 85–105% (average 94%) in serum, 85–97% (average 91%) in EDTA plasma, and 85–102% (average 97%) in heparin plasma. Linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions was 85–101%, 82–100% and 80–100% in serum; 91–96%, 82–100% and 81–99% in EDTA plasma; and 86–105%, 90–101% and 82–98% in heparin plasma.

PFKP is a key enzyme in glycolysis with a critical role in cellular energy production, and its dysregulation has been linked to cancer, metabolic disorders and cardiovascular conditions. Kit reagents should be stored at 2–8 °C for up to 12 months.
