Human Phosphofructokinase, Muscle/PFKM ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's sandwich ELISA, double-antibody kit enables the in vitro quantitative measurement of human phosphofructokinase, muscle type (PFKM) in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. PFKM is described as a key control step of glycolysis, and its dysregulation is linked to metabolic disorders and glycogen storage disease VII (Tarui disease), making it a relevant biomarker for metabolism research.

The assay has a sensitivity of 0.188ng/ml and a detection range of 0.313-20ng/ml, with intra-assay CV <8% and inter-assay CV <10%. Spike-and-recovery averaged 92% in serum (range 88-99%), 92% in EDTA plasma (range 87-99%) and 96% in UFH plasma (range 87-104%). Linearity of diluted samples spanned 81-105% across these matrices. Reagents are stored at 4°C for 6 months; the lyophilized standard may also be kept at -20°C. UniProt reference: P08237.
