Human Phosphoenolpyruvate carboxykinase, cytosolic [GTP] (PCK1) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of human Phosphoenolpyruvate carboxykinase, cytosolic [GTP] (PCK1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. The assay is reactive with human samples and recognises both natural and recombinant human PCK1.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.12ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is reported at 5.1% and inter-assay CV at 8.5%. Linearity has been validated across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16 for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma, while recovery in serum averages 100% (range 94-106%) and in plasma averages 102% (range 96-108%). PCK1 catalyses the conversion of oxaloacetate to phosphoenolpyruvate, the rate-limiting step of gluconeogenesis, and the cytosolic protein is localised to the cytoplasm as a monomer.

The kit is intended for research use only and is suited to cardiovascular research applications. It is supplied with components including a microplate, lyophilised standard, sample and assay diluents, detection reagents, wash buffer, substrate solution, stop solution and plate sealers, with storage at -20°C for most reagents and 4°C for the wash buffer, substrate and stop solution.
