Human Phosphodiesterase 4D, cAMP Specific/PDE4D ELISA Kit

Designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Phosphodiesterase 4D (PDE4D), this sandwich ELISA, double antibody immunoassay from Assay Genie provides a reliable tool for measuring PDE4D concentrations in serum, plasma, and other biological fluids. PDE4D hydrolyses the second messenger cAMP, a key regulator of many important physiological processes, and its dysregulation has been implicated in conditions such as asthma, COPD, and Alzheimer's disease, supporting research into disease mechanisms and potential therapeutic interventions.

The kit uses a colorimetric detection method with a reported sensitivity of 46.875 pg/ml and an assay range of 78.125–5000 pg/ml. Recovery was evaluated across matrices spiked with human PDE4D, with average values of 96% for serum (n=5), 97% for EDTA plasma (n=5), and 95% for UFH plasma (n=5). Linearity was demonstrated by serial dilution of spiked samples, with percentage ranges reported across 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions for serum, EDTA plasma, and UFH plasma. Precision is reported as intra-assay CV <8% and inter-assay CV <10%.
