Human Phosphodiesterase 4D, cAMP Specific (PDE4D) ELISA Kit

Phosphodiesterase 4D hydrolyzes cyclic AMP and is the focus of research into inflammatory signaling, neuronal function, and cardiac electrophysiology. The Assay Genie PDE4D ELISA kit enables quantitative measurement of this enzyme in human tissue homogenates and cell lysates, supporting investigations into cAMP pathway biology and phosphodiesterase inhibitor pharmacology.

PDE4D is one of four cAMP-specific phosphodiesterase genes (PDE4A through PDE4D) and is expressed as multiple splice variants across brain, heart, lung, and immune cell populations. Altered PDE4D expression has been associated with inflammatory disease models and responses to PDE4 inhibitor compounds such as those in the rolipram family.

The kit includes reagents for 96 individual assays run on a standard microplate format. Detection is absorbance-based and read on a standard plate reader. Reagents are intended for research use only and stored refrigerated during routine handling.
