The Phospho-SHIP1 (Y1020) PharmaGenie ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is a phosphorylation site-specific immunoassay built around a capture antibody selective for tyrosine 1020 of INPP5D (SHIP1), a lipid phosphatase that dephosphorylates PIP3 and is recruited to B cell receptor, Fc receptor, and ITIM-bearing immune receptor complexes. The Y1020 site is a substrate for Lyn and Syk family kinases, so quantitative measurement of this phospho-epitope supports studies of BCR signal strength, mast cell activation, and PI3K pathway attenuation in primary lymphocytes and hematopoietic cell lines.

Prepared cell lysates and snap-frozen tissue lysates are loaded onto the pre-coated well plate, and absorbance is read at the appropriate wavelength against a recombinant phosphopeptide standard curve.
