Human Phospho-P27/Kip1 (T198) and Total P27/Kip1 PharmaGenie ELISA Kit (SBRS1914)

The Assay Genie dual-analyte ELISA enables simultaneous quantification of phosphorylated P27/Kip1 at threonine 198 (T198) and total P27/Kip1 protein from the same lysate preparation, supporting pathway-level analysis of AKT-mediated cell cycle signaling. T198 phosphorylation is triggered downstream of PI3K/AKT activation and drives cytoplasmic relocalization of this cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor, a modification extensively studied in HER2-positive breast cancer, prostate carcinoma, and other tumor models where altered p27 localization correlates with prognosis. The capture and detection antibodies have been validated for cross-reactivity with human, mouse, and rat P27/Kip1.

Researchers employ this microplate immunoassay to monitor growth factor responses, evaluate kinase inhibitor pharmacodynamics, and investigate cell cycle arrest mechanisms in vitro. The phospho-specific capture antibody paired with a total protein readout allows normalization of phosphorylation stoichiometry without requiring parallel Western blot experiments.
