MSK1 (Mitogen- and Stress-activated protein Kinase 1), encoded by RPS6KA5, is a nuclear serine/threonine kinase that operates downstream of the ERK1/2 and p38 MAPK cascades. Phosphorylation at Ser376 is an autophosphorylation event that serves as a direct readout of kinase activation, making this phospho-specific ELISA a sensitive tool for tracking signalling flux in response to growth factors, cellular stress, or inflammatory cytokines such as TNF-alpha and IL-1beta.
The Assay Genie kit is supplied as a microplate-format immunoassay for the quantitative measurement of phospho-MSK1 (S376) in prepared cell lysates and tissue lysates, supporting research into chromatin remodelling, CREB and ATF1 transcription factor activation, histone H3 Ser10 phosphorylation, and innate immune signalling pathways relevant to oncology, neurodegeneration, and chronic inflammation studies. Each kit is intended for in vitro research use only, and individual components should be stored refrigerated at the temperature indicated on the vial label until first use.
