The Y1262 site is a major docking point for the p85 regulatory subunit of PI3K, making this kit useful for heregulin-driven signaling studies, HER2 heterodimerization analysis, and investigations of trastuzumab or lapatinib resistance in HER2-positive breast cancer models. The paired phospho/total readouts support calculation of activation ratios that normalize for variable ErbB3 expression across treatment conditions.
