The Assay Genie Phospho-EGFR (S1070) and Total EGFR PharmaGenie ELISA Kit quantifies phosphorylation of the EGFR receptor at the serine 1070 residue alongside total EGFR protein within the same sample, supporting pathway-level studies of receptor tyrosine kinase signaling. By reading phospho- and total target in parallel, this dual-analyte layout allows normalization of activation state against receptor expression in cell and tissue lysates, which is especially valuable in oncology research where EGFR drives proliferation and survival cascades in tumors such as non-small cell lung carcinoma and glioblastoma.

The kit is supplied as a complete set of pre-coated microplate wells, capture antibodies, detection reagents, and buffer diluents sufficient for the full plate format. Each well receives 100 µL of sample lysate, and bound analyte is revealed with a chromogenic substrate on a standard microplate reader. Intended for research use only, the reagents support time-course and dose-response experiments examining EGFR pathway dynamics following ligand stimulation, small-molecule inhibitor treatment, or gene knockdown in cultured mammalian cells.

Unopened kit components should be kept refrigerated to preserve antibody activity; users should refer to the included manual for component-specific shelf life, aliquot guidance, and freeze-thaw limits. The simultaneous readout of phosphorylated and total EGFR distinguishes this kit from single-target ELISAs, reducing hands-on time and lysate consumption when both measurements are required within a single experimental set.
