The Phospho-DDR2 (Tyr740) and Total DDR2 PharmaGenie ELISA Kit from Assay Genie provides a quantitative colorimetric immunoassay for measuring receptor tyrosine kinase activation in cell and tissue lysates. DDR2 is a collagen-binding receptor tyrosine kinase, and phosphorylation at Tyr740 within the activation loop is a hallmark of ligand-induced signaling. By profiling phospho-DDR2 alongside total DDR2 in the same lysate, researchers can normalize activation state to receptor expression, supporting studies of tumor invasion, idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, and osteoarthritis cartilage biology where DDR2 signaling drives collagen remodeling.

The 96-well microplate format accommodates up to 96 assays, with a 100 µl sample volume per well suitable for cell and tissue lysate inputs. Investigators studying collagen-rich microenvironments, including bone, cartilage, and fibrotic lesions, can pair phospho and total measurements to compare DDR2 pathway activation across treatment conditions, disease stages, or genetically modified backgrounds. Detection is colorimetric and read on a standard plate reader, and the kit is supplied for research use only.

Storage and handling: keep the sealed kit refrigerated at 4 degrees C; avoid freeze-thaw cycles of the lyophilized standards and prepare working dilutions fresh before each run. The dual-analyte design eliminates the need for separate phospho and total runs, conserving precious biopsy or primary cell lysate material while delivering reproducible, pathway-level data.
