The PharmaGenie ELISA from Assay Genie simultaneously quantifies phosphorylated cyclin B1 at serine 126 and total cyclin B1 in the same sample, enabling direct normalization of phosphorylation status against total protein expression. Cyclin B1 is a master regulator of the G2/M transition, and its phosphorylation state controls nuclear translocation, APC/C recognition, and mitotic exit.

Typical research applications include cell cycle checkpoint studies, DNA damage response signaling, and characterization of antimitotic or microtubule-targeting compounds in oncology research. The kit is validated for human cell lysates and tissue lysates and uses an absorbance-based read-out on a standard microplate.
