Human Phosphatidylinositol-glycan-specific phospholipase D (GPLD1) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative detection of human Phosphatidylinositol-glycan-specific phospholipase D (GPLD1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses natural and recombinant human GPLD1 and is intended for research use only, supporting cardiovascular research and studies of GPI-anchor metabolism.

The reported detection range is 0.78-50ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.22ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 4.8% and inter-assay CV is 7.4%. Linearity was assessed at sample dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 (N=5): serum 85-95%, 88-98%, 88-98%, 96-104%; EDTA plasma 85-95%, 91-101%, 91-101%, 95-105%; heparin plasma 106-116%, 89-99%, 89-98%, 84-94%. Recovery in serum averaged 98% (range 92-104%) and in plasma averaged 100% (range 94-106%). GPLD1 hydrolyses the inositol phosphate linkage of proteins anchored by phosphatidylinositol glycans (GPI-anchor), thereby releasing these proteins from the plasma membrane.
