Human Phosphatidylinositol-5-phosphate 4-kinase type-2 gamma (PIP4K2C) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA developed by Assay Genie for the quantitative detection of human Phosphatidylinositol-5-phosphate 4-kinase type-2 gamma (PIP4K2C). The kit is intended for research use only and recognises natural and recombinant human PIP4K2C, with reported synonyms including Phosphatidylinositol 5-phosphate 4-kinase type II gamma, PI(5)P 4-kinase type II gamma and PIP5K2C.

The assay has a stated detection range of 78-5000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 39pg/mL. Reported precision figures include an intra-assay CV of 5.2% and an inter-assay CV of 9.2%. Recovery in serum averages 91% (range 85-97%) and in plasma averages 93% (range 87-99%). Linearity has been evaluated across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16.

Suitable sample types include serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. The target protein, with UniProt accession Q8TBX8, is described as playing an important role in the production of Phosphatidylinositol bisphosphate (PIP2) in the endoplasmic reticulum and is mostly found in the cytosol and surrounding plasma membrane.
