Configured for research use only, the Assay Genie Human PHF2 ELISA Kit enables quantitative measurement of PHD finger protein 2 in human specimens. PHF2 is a JmjC-domain-containing histone demethylase that acts on H3K9me1 and H3K9me2, influencing ribosome biogenesis, rRNA transcription, and p53-mediated senescence pathways studied in cancer and metabolic disease research.

This in vitro kit includes a pre-coated microplate, capture antibody, biotinylated detection reagent, recombinant protein standards, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, wash buffer, substrate solution, and stop reagent, sufficient for 96 individual reactions. Validated matrices include human serum or plasma. The assay produces an absorbance-based readout compatible with a standard plate reader, with no specialized instrumentation required.

Unopened components should be refrigerated; reconstituted standards and detection antibody should be divided into single-use aliquots to minimize freeze-thaw cycles. Working vials of conjugate and substrate should be protected from light during incubation and handling.
