The Assay Genie Human PHD1 ELISA Kit is built around prolyl hydroxylase domain protein 1 (EGLN2), a cytoplasmic oxygen-sensing enzyme that hydroxylates HIF-alpha subunits under normoxic conditions. PHD1 sits at a control point in hypoxia-inducible factor signaling, so quantifying its levels supports work on ischemia, metabolic adaptation, erythropoiesis, and inflammatory stress pathways.

Each kit ships in a single-use microplate format with pre-coated wells, lyophilized standards, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP, wash buffer, and substrate. The procedure accepts clarified lysates and homogenates from human sources, with a typical reaction running 4 to 5 hours end-to-end.
