Quantification of peptidoglycan recognition proteins (PGRPs) in human specimens is supported by the Assay Genie Human PGRPs PharmaGenie ELISA Kit, a quantitative immunoassay built on a capture-and-detection antibody configuration. PGRPs are soluble pattern-recognition receptors of the innate immune system that bind bacterial peptidoglycan and link microbial sensing to downstream antimicrobial and inflammatory responses, which is why reliable measurement of these proteins matters in infectious-disease, mucosal-immunity, and host-defense research.

The kit is supplied in a 96-test plate format with all buffers, capture and detector antibodies, and reference standards needed to run a complete standard curve alongside unknown samples. It accepts multiple human specimen types, including cell culture supernatants, plasma, and serum, so the same assay can be used on in vitro stimulation experiments and on translational clinical cohorts. Plates are read colorimetrically on a standard microplate reader, and the run fits inside a normal working day.
