Human PGLYRP1/PGRP-S ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit uses a double-antibody, colorimetric format for the quantitative measurement of human PGLYRP1, also known as PGRP-S. The assay is validated for use with human serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and the reagents are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

Sensitivity is 0.188 ng/mL with a working range of 0.313-20 ng/mL. Mean recovery rates (n = 5) are reported as 96% for serum, 93% for EDTA plasma, and 94% for heparin plasma. The workflow includes primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labelled detection antibody binding for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin binding for 30 minutes, TMB colour development in the dark for 10-20 minutes, and immediate absorbance measurement at 450 nm following addition of stop solution.

PGLYRP1 is an innate immune protein involved in defence against bacterial infection, and its dysregulation has been linked to inflammatory and autoimmune conditions, supporting the kit's relevance to immunology research and biomarker investigation.
