Human PFDN1 ELISA Kit (HUFI07259)

PFDN1 (Prefoldin subunit 1) is a ~14 kDa chaperone protein that assembles into a heterohexameric prefoldin complex with five other subunits (PFDN2–6). This complex captures nascent cytoskeletal polypeptides and delivers them to the group II chaperonin CCT/TRiC for ATP-dependent folding. PFDN1 has also been linked to transcriptional regulation of the unfolded protein response. The Assay Genie kit provides quantitative measurement of PFDN1 in human specimens, with all reagents arranged in a microplate format for processing up to 96 samples per run. Reconstituted standards should be aliquoted and frozen at -20 °C to limit freeze-thaw degradation, while the remaining kit components remain stable when refrigerated at 4 °C. Researchers investigating cytosolic chaperone biology, protein homeostasis, and cellular stress-response pathways can use this assay to monitor PFDN1 levels in translational studies.
