Human PEX7 ELISA Kit (HUFI07258)

The Assay Genie Human PEX7 ELISA Kit is configured for quantitative detection of peroxisomal biogenesis factor 7, the cytosolic PTS2 receptor that ferries peroxisomal matrix proteins bearing a type 2 peroxisomal targeting signal into the organelle. The kit supports research into peroxisome biogenesis disorders, adult Refsum disease, and rhizomelic chondrodysplasia punctata type 1, where biallelic PEX7 mutations are causal.

Each kit ships with a pre-coated microplate, biotinylated detection reagent, calibration standards, streptavidin-HRP, wash buffer, and substrate solution. Standards are stored frozen at -20 °C; all other components are kept refrigerated until first use. The assay is validated with a human-specific capture antibody and shows no significant cross-reactivity against mouse or rat PEX7.

Supplied in a 96-assay configuration for research use only. Reconstituted standards remain stable through three freeze-thaw cycles without loss of activity.
