Human Peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma coactivator-related protein 1 (PPRC1) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of human Peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma coactivator-related protein 1 (PPRC1). Using a colorimetric detection method, the kit is intended for use with human samples and has been validated for serum and plasma, as well as tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants, and other biological fluids. The assay shows specificity for both natural and recombinant human PPRC1.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.078 ng/mL. Reported precision values are an intra-assay CV of 4.8% and an inter-assay CV of 8.8%. Linearity has been evaluated in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma across dilution factors of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16. Recovery ranges from 92–104% in serum (average 98%) and 94–106% in plasma (average 100%).

PPRC1 functions as a transcriptional coactivator involved in mitochondrial biogenesis and cell growth, interacting with CREB1 and NRF1. Dysregulation of PPRC1 has been associated with metabolic disorders, neurodegenerative diseases, and cancer, making it a valuable biomarker for research into these conditions.
