Human Perilipin-1 (PLIN1) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit enables accurate quantification of human Perilipin-1 (PLIN1), a key adipocyte protein that coats lipid storage droplets and regulates lipid metabolism. Perilipin-1 serves as a valuable biomarker for research into obesity, metabolic disorders and related conditions. The assay is validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids, and shows specificity for natural and recombinant human Perilipin-1.

A colorimetric detection method is used, with a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.072 ng/mL. Reported precision values are 6.7% intra-assay CV and 11.2% inter-assay CV. Spike-and-recovery testing in serum gave an average of 108% (range 102–114%) and in plasma an average of 110% (range 104–116%). The kit is intended for research use only.
