Human Perforin ELISA Kit

A colorimetric sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie, configured as a double-antibody assay, designed for the quantitative measurement of perforin in human samples. Perforin is a pore-forming protein central to cytotoxic T cell and natural killer cell function, contributing to target cell lysis during immune defense against infections and cancer. The kit supports research into immune dysfunction, immune-related disease monitoring, and immunotherapy efficacy.

Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay has a reported sensitivity of 0.469 ng/mL and a working range of 0.781–50 ng/mL. Reported linearity for serum (n=5) spans 83–105% across 1:2 to 1:8 dilutions, with EDTA plasma (n=5) at 81–99% and heparin plasma (n=5) at 80–100%. Recovery averages 87% for serum, 89% for EDTA plasma, and 92% for heparin plasma.

The procedure uses a biotin-labeled detection antibody with HRP-streptavidin (SABC) and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm. Reagents are stored at 2-8°C, and the kit is stable for 12 months under recommended conditions.
