Human Peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase-like 1 (PPIL-1) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie provides quantitative measurement of human Peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase-like 1 (PPIL-1) using a colorimetric detection method in a solid-phase format. The assay is reactive with human samples and has been validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids (C0, S1, S2).

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.312–20 ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.192 ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 6.2% and an inter-assay CV of 7.5%. The assay detects both natural and recombinant human PPIL-1 (UniProt Q9Y3C6), which has a reported molecular weight of 18,237 Da. Recovery has been demonstrated at an average of 104% for serum (range 98–110%) and 106% for plasma (range 100–112%) (S1, S3).

PPIL-1, also known by synonyms Rotamase PPIL1, CGI-124, CYPL1 and PPIase, belongs to the cyclophilin-type PPIase family (EC 5.2.1.8). It accelerates protein folding by catalysing the cis-trans isomerisation of proline imidic peptide bonds and may participate in pre-mRNA splicing as part of the spliceosome C complex (S1). Reagents are stored at temperatures ranging from 4°C to –20°C depending on the component, with long-term storage recommended at –20°C, and the kit ships at +4°C (S1, S2, S3). For research use only.
