Human Pentraxin 3 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human PTX3 (pentraxin-3) concentrations in serum, plasma, and other biological fluids. The double-antibody sandwich assay has a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/ml and a standard range of 0.313–20 ng/ml, and should be stored at 4°C for up to 6 months. Spike-and-recovery testing in serum, EDTA plasma, and UFH plasma produced average recoveries of 98%, 98%, and 96% respectively. Linearity was demonstrated across serial dilutions (1:2, 1:4, 1:8) in the same matrices, and reported precision is intra-assay CV below 8% and inter-assay CV below 10%.

PTX3 is a secreted protein (UniProt P26022) involved in the regulation of innate resistance to pathogens and inflammatory reactions.
