Human PENK/Proenkephalin ELISA Kit

Designed for the quantitative measurement of proenkephalin in human samples, this Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is a colorimetric assay intended for research use. It is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

According to the manufacturer's product page, the kit reports a sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL and a working range of 78.125–5000 pg/mL. Reported recovery ranges are 87–105% for serum (average 95%), 89–97% for EDTA plasma (average 94%), and 89–103% for heparin plasma (average 96%). Linearity data are also provided across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. The target is human PENK (Proenkephalin), UniProt P01210, and the kit is stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.
