Human PEG10/EDR ELISA Kit

A colorimetric Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of PEG10 (also known as EDR or Paternally Expressed Gene 10) in human samples. The double-antibody assay is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid sample types.

The kit reports a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a measurable range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. PEG10 plays a role in cell proliferation, differentiation and apoptosis, and its dysregulation has been linked to diseases including cancer. The associated research area is cell death. Unopened reagents are stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.

The six-step workflow is: equilibrate reagents and TMB substrate to room temperature and load standards, samples and zero controls onto the pre-coated plate; incubate at 37°C for 90 minutes; add biotin-labelled detection antibody and incubate at 37°C for 60 minutes; add HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) and incubate at 37°C for 30 minutes; develop with TMB substrate in the dark for 10–20 minutes; then add stop solution and read absorbance at 450 nm.
