The PDZK1 protein (PDZ domain-containing scaffold protein 1) organizes the apical localization of multiple ion transporters and scavenger receptors, including NHERF partners, making it a focal target in renal physiology, hepatic lipid handling, and cholestasis research. By providing a quantitative read-out of PDZK1 levels in human serum or plasma with a 50 µL sample volume per well, this microplate format from Assay Genie supports studies of drug-transporter regulation, atherosclerosis, and glomerular function. The assay is specific for human PDZK1 and shows no significant cross-reactivity with mouse or rat orthologues. Each kit supplies reagents for 96 reactions and is intended for research use only.
