Human PDZ and LIM domain protein 1 (PDLIM1) ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative detection of human PDZ and LIM domain protein 1 (PDLIM1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The colorimetric assay is intended for research applications where reliable and reproducible measurement of PDLIM1 is required, and is relevant to studies of cell signaling, cytoskeletal organization and gene transcription, as well as conditions such as cancer, cardiovascular disorders and neurological conditions in which PDLIM1 dysregulation has been implicated.

The kit offers a detection range of 0.156-10 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.03 ng/mL. Reported precision is an intra-assay CV of 6.3% and an inter-assay CV of 7.5%. Linearity has been validated at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16, with serum ranging from 86-117%, EDTA plasma from 84-120% and heparin plasma from 89-122% across the dilutions tested. Recovery averages 99% (range 93-105%) for serum and 101% (range 95-107%) for plasma.

Specificity is confirmed against natural and recombinant human PDZ and LIM domain protein 1. PDLIM1 is a cytoskeletal adaptor that interacts with alpha-actinins 1, 2 and 4 and functions as an adapter that brings other proteins, such as kinases, to the cytoskeleton. For research use only.
