Human PDX-1/IPF1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of PDX-1 (Pancreatic and duodenal homeobox 1) in human samples. The kit uses a double-antibody format with colorimetric detection, and is intended for research in Epigenetics and Nuclear Signaling.

With a working range of 15.625–1000 pg/mL and a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL, the assay is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Linearity at 1:2/1:4/1:8 is reported as 85–105%/88–101%/80–98% for serum, 88–105%/85–96%/84–100% for EDTA plasma, and 92–105%/86–100%/83–99% for heparin plasma. Average recovery is 98% for serum, 94% for EDTA plasma, and 94% for heparin plasma.

The procedure includes primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labeled detection antibody incubation for 60 minutes, HRP-streptavidin (SABC) for 30 minutes, and TMB color development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, with absorbance read at 450 nm. Unopened components should be stored at 2–8°C for 12 months. The target protein is catalogued as UniProt P52945, with synonyms including PDX1, IDX1, IPF1, and IUF1.
