Human PDGFD/Platelet-derived growth factor D ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of human Platelet-Derived Growth Factor D (PDGFD), employing a colorimetric double-antibody detection method. The assay is validated for use with human samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and the associated Uniprot identifier is Q9GZP0.

Performance specifications include a sensitivity of 7.5 pg/mL and a working range of 12.5-800 pg/mL. Linearity in serum (n=5) was 98-103% at 1:2, 98-104% at 1:4 and 91-105% at 1:8 dilution; EDTA plasma (n=5) was 84-101%, 89-100% and 82-99%; and heparin plasma (n=5) was 83-98%, 85-100% and 84-95%. Recovery averaged 94% in serum (range 89-101%), 98% in EDTA plasma (range 85-104%) and 96% in heparin plasma (range 86-102%).

Components are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months, with the microplate strips and lyophilized standard additionally suitable for 12-month storage at -20°C. PDGFD is described as a key growth factor involved in cell growth and proliferation, particularly in blood vessel development, and its dysregulation has been linked to cancer, fibrosis and cardiovascular disorders, supporting its use as a biomarker in cell biology research.
