Human PDGFB ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the precise quantification of human PDGFB (Platelet-Derived Growth Factor-BB) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Using a double-antibody sandwich format with colorimetric detection, it offers a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and a working range of 15.625–1000 pg/mL (1 ng = 5800 mIU).

The workflow includes reagent and plate preparation, a 90-minute primary incubation at 37 °C for antigen binding, a 60-minute biotin-labelled detection antibody step, a 30-minute HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) binding step, TMB colour development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and addition of stop solution with immediate absorbance reading at 450 nm. PDGFB is described as a key growth factor involved in cell growth, proliferation, and differentiation, with established roles in wound healing, angiogenesis, and tissue remodelling; its dysregulation has been linked to cancers, fibrotic disorders, and cardiovascular diseases, making it a biomarker candidate and therapeutic target.

The kit is supplied with a dismountable pre-coated ELISA microplate, lyophilised standard, biotin-labelled antibody concentrate, HRP-Streptavidin conjugate, TMB substrate, sample and antibody dilution buffers, SABC dilution buffer, stop solution, wash buffer, plate sealer, and a technical manual. Reagents are stored at 2–8 °C, with the microplate strips and lyophilised standard additionally suitable for longer-term storage at –20 °C.
