Human PDGF ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA is configured as a double-antibody, colorimetric assay for the quantitative detection of human Platelet-Derived Growth Factor (PDGF). It is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and is intended for research applications in oncology, vascular biology, and regenerative medicine.

The kit reports a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL across a working range of 31.25-2000 pg/mL. Linearity for serum is 89-101% at 1:2, 88-99% at 1:4 and 86-104% at 1:8; for EDTA plasma 84-101%, 84-100% and 83-94%; and for heparin plasma 83-98%, 80-99% and 85-99%. Spike-and-recovery is 87-102% with a 92% average in serum, and 89-105% with a 96% average in both EDTA and heparin plasma. Unopened components are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

PDGF is a growth factor involved in cell growth, division, angiogenesis, wound healing and tissue repair, with dysregulation relevant to cancer and fibrotic disorders, supporting the use of this assay in studies of those conditions.
