Human PDGF-C ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's Human PDGF-C ELISA Kit is a sandwich (double-antibody) ELISA designed for the quantitative measurement of platelet-derived growth factor C (PDGF-C) in human samples. Validated matrices include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other biological fluids.

The assay uses colorimetric detection: the capture antibody is pre-coated onto the microplate, a biotin-conjugated antibody serves as the detection reagent, and HRP-Streptavidin generates signal via TMB substrate, read as optical density at 450 nm. Sensitivity is 37.5 pg/mL, with a working range of 62.5–4000 pg/mL. Reported linearity falls within 85–104% for serum, 84–101% for EDTA plasma and 80–100% for heparin plasma across 1:2 to 1:8 dilutions, while average spike-recovery is 93–96% across these matrices.

For research use only. PDGF-C (UniProt Q9NRA1), with aliases including PDGFC, FALLOTEIN, SCDGF and VEGF-E, is implicated in cell growth, proliferation and migration, with research relevance to cancer, fibrosis and cardiovascular disease. The kit is shipped on ice packs and stored at 2–8°C.
