Human PDGF AA/PDGF-A ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA (double antibody) kit from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of human PDGF-AA (Platelet-Derived Growth Factor-AA). The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is intended for use with human samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

Performance specifications include a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and a working range of 15.625–1000 pg/mL. The protocol involves equilibrating reagents and TMB substrate to room temperature, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labelled detection antibody incubation for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) binding for 30 minutes, TMB colour development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after stop solution addition. Reported linearity for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma lies between 85% and 105% across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions, and recovery averages 92–93% across the same sample types. Unopened kit components are stored at 2–8°C for up to 12 months.

PDGF-AA is a growth factor involved in cell growth, division and angiogenesis, and participates in tissue repair, wound healing and tumorigenesis. The kit is therefore suited to research applications in angiogenesis, cell proliferation and related pathways.
