Human PDE10A/Phosphodiesterase 10A ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA, Double Antibody kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of human PDE10A (Phosphodiesterase 10A) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method with absorbance read at 450 nm following TMB substrate development and stop solution addition. PDE10A regulates cellular signalling by hydrolysing cAMP and cGMP, and its dysregulation has been linked to neurological disorders such as Huntington's disease and schizophrenia.

Validated performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and an assay range of 0.313-20 ng/mL, with kit components intended to be stored at 2-8°C for 12 months. Spiked recovery in serum (n=5) was 87-103% (average 95%), in EDTA plasma (n=5) 85-96% (average 91%), and in heparin plasma (n=5) 88-101% (average 94%). Linearity for diluted serum (n=5) ranged 86-105% at 1:2, 86-100% at 1:4, and 87-97% at 1:8; EDTA plasma (n=5) 87-99%, 87-97%, 87-95%; heparin plasma (n=5) 85-105%, 87-101%, 85-96%.
