PDCD6, also called ALG-2 (Apoptosis-Linked Gene 2), is a calcium-binding member of the penta-EF-hand protein family. It participates in programmed cell death, ER stress signaling, membrane trafficking and cytokinesis, and is widely studied in cancer biology, neurodegeneration models and apoptosis pathway research. This Assay Genie quantitative immunoassay lets investigators measure PDCD6 protein concentrations in human serum or plasma samples using a microplate, with all required reagents, coated wells and detection antibody supplied in the kit. A 100 µL sample volume is added to each well during the run. Refrigerate the unopened kit, protect from light, and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles of diluted samples.
