PDCD5 (Programmed Cell Death 5), also referred to as TFAR19, is a conserved apoptosis regulator that translocates from the cytoplasm into the nucleus during programmed cell death and accelerates caspase-3 activation. This Assay Genie microplate-format immunoassay enables quantitative measurement of endogenous PDCD5 in human cell lysates and tissue homogenates for in vitro research use only. Investigators apply it to studies of tumor suppression, neurodegeneration, immune signaling, and p53-dependent death pathways, and to screen apoptosis-inducing compounds.
