Human PCX (Podocalyxin) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of podocalyxin (PCX) in human samples. It shows reactivity with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid sample types, and uses a double-antibody sandwich detection format.

Podocalyxin is a key protein implicated in cell adhesion, migration, and signalling, and is studied as a biomarker in cancer, kidney disorders, and inflammatory conditions. The kit is supplied with a lyophilised standard, biotin-labelled detection antibody, HRP-Streptavidin conjugate, TMB substrate, sample and antibody dilution buffers, SABC dilution buffer, stop solution, wash buffer, plate sealer, and a technical manual. Reagents should be stored at 2-8°C for 12 months. Reported linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions ranges are 89-105%, 86-101% and 85-104% for serum; 83-92%, 86-100% and 90-100% for EDTA plasma; and 80-99%, 87-96% and 87-97% for heparin plasma. Reported spike-and-recovery averages are 92% for serum, 100% for EDTA plasma, and 95% for heparin plasma.
