The Human PCTAIRE3 ELISA Kit from Assay Genie enables quantitative measurement of CDK18 (also termed PCTK3), a cyclin-dependent kinase family member predominantly expressed in neurons and implicated in cell cycle progression, axon guidance, and neuronal differentiation. Researchers apply this assay to studies of altered PCTAIRE3 signaling reported in glioblastoma multiforme and in hormone receptor-positive breast carcinoma cell lines. The kit is supplied in a microplate configuration with all required capture antibody, detection antibody, recombinant standard, substrate solution, and wash buffer included for the indicated number of determinations. A typical run uses 100 uL of diluted specimen per well, with absorbance read on a standard plate reader after the chromogenic substrate incubation. Unopened reagents should be stored refrigerated at 4 °C and protected from light, with the recombinant standard aliquoted upon first thaw to limit freeze-thaw damage.
