Human PCPE1/PCOLCE ELISA Kit

PCPE1 is involved in the regulation of collagen synthesis and maturation and plays a key role in maintaining the structural integrity of tissues and organs. Dysregulation of PCPE1 has been linked to fibrosis, arthritis, and cardiovascular disorders, making it a valuable biomarker for research into these conditions and potential therapeutic interventions.

The assay reports a sensitivity of 0.375 ng/mL and a working range of 0.625-40 ng/mL, with absorbance read at 450 nm after TMB substrate development. Reported linearity in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma spans roughly 80-103% across 1:2 to 1:8 dilutions, and spike recovery averages 96% in serum, 90% in EDTA plasma, and 93% in heparin plasma. Unopened components are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

The workflow involves equilibrating reagents and standards, a 90-minute primary incubation at 37°C for antigen binding, biotinylated detection antibody binding, HRP-streptavidin conjugation, TMB color development in the dark for 10-20 minutes, and immediate absorbance measurement after addition of stop solution.
