Human PCOL-I (Procollagen I) ELISA Kit

Procollagen I is a precursor to collagen, the main structural protein in the body responsible for providing strength and flexibility to tissues and organs. Abnormal procollagen I levels have been associated with fibrosis, osteogenesis imperfecta, and wound healing disorders. Studying procollagen I levels can therefore provide valuable insights into these diseases and potentially aid in the development of targeted therapies.

The assay procedure involves reagent and plate preparation, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, detection antibody binding for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin binding for 30 minutes, TMB substrate color development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm following stop solution addition. Reagents are stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.
