Human PCLO (Protein piccolo) ELISA KIT (HUFI04969)

The Piccolo protein encoded by the PCLO gene is a large (~550 kDa) presynaptic cytomatrix scaffold that organizes synaptic vesicles at the active zone of neurotransmitter release sites. This Assay Genie ELISA kit enables quantitative measurement of human Piccolo in clinical specimens, supporting research into synaptic dysfunction, neurodegenerative disease mechanisms, and psychiatric conditions where PCLO polymorphisms have been associated with bipolar disorder, major depressive disorder, and ADHD.
