The Assay Genie PBK ELISA Kit targets PDZ-binding kinase (also known as TOPK), a mitotic serine/threonine kinase frequently overexpressed in proliferating tumor cells and a useful biomarker in cancer biology and cell-cycle signaling studies. The microplate workflow uses a human-specific capture antibody with a sample volume of 100 uL per well, validated for serum or plasma matrices. TMB substrate development is read at 450 nm, with the complete protocol finished in approximately 3 hours at room temperature. Reconstituted standards should be aliquoted and frozen to minimize freeze-thaw cycles; remaining kit components remain stable when stored refrigerated, and unused wells should be resealed in the foil pouch with the desiccant pack to preserve plate integrity.
