Human PBF/PTTG1IP ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit enables quantitative measurement of PBF (also known as PTTG1IP Binding Factor) in human samples. The assay uses a double-antibody sandwich format with colorimetric detection and is suitable for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid sample types. PBF is recognised as a protein involved in cell proliferation and tumorigenesis, with dysregulation associated with cancer and thyroid disorders, supporting research in cancer biology, endocrinology, and cell signalling pathways.

Linearity in serum spans 80–103% across 1:2 to 1:8 dilutions, EDTA plasma 81–103%, and heparin plasma 80–101%. Recovery averages 98% in serum, 97% in EDTA plasma, and 100% in heparin plasma, with corresponding ranges of 92–102%, 87–104%, and 98–104%. The protocol uses a pre-coated plate with TMB substrate, developed in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance is read at 450 nm. Kit components are stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.
