Human Parvalbumin (PVALB) ELISA Kit

Parvalbumin (PVALB) is a small calcium-binding protein of the EF-hand family, abundant in fast-contracting skeletal muscle fibers and in a defined subset of inhibitory interneurons within the central nervous system. This Assay Genie kit provides a quantitative immunoassay for measuring human PVALB across multiple research-relevant sample matrices, with each microplate supporting a defined run of experimental and standard wells.

The assay accommodates tissue homogenates prepared from skeletal muscle or specific brain regions, cell lysates harvested from cultured myogenic or neuronal lines, and cell culture supernatants collected during in vitro experiments, enabling studies that span neuromuscular physiology, motor neuron characterization, and analysis of GABAergic circuit composition.
