α-Parvin (PARVA) is an approximately 42 kDa focal adhesion-associated protein that links integrin signaling to the actin cytoskeleton through direct binding with integrin-linked kinase (ILK) and α-PIX. The Assay Genie Human PARVA ELISA Kit enables quantitative measurement of this target in human serum or plasma specimens using a colorimetric microplate-based immunoassay format with reagents sufficient for 96 determinations on a standard microplate.

The protein contributes to cell spreading, migration, survival, and angiogenic remodeling, and altered PARVA expression has been reported in invasive carcinoma models and tumor microenvironment studies.
